During a saili...view moreKristen R. Sierra has lived for seventeen years on the sailboat Bristol Blue with her husband, Ned, in Seattle, Washington. She is a self-taught artist who works primarily in copper. During a sailing adventure to Mexico, she met copper master artisans at Santa Clara del Cobre in the state of Michoacan. It was while she was on the sailing trip that she also learned how to use watercolors. When not working on her artwork and writing, she is involved with boat maintenance, sailing, and Live Aboard community activities.view less
