Weaving lighthearted, easy-to-follow stories for little children has been a big part of Dorothy’s life, and as an artist, she has added the characters to complete the experience for her audience. Children are sure to enjoy this book.
Growing up in a large family in Western Canada, Dorothy often babysat. It was then that this story, among others ,was originally told to her nephews, and later her sons, who in turn have asked her to put them in print so all children could enjoy them. Dorothy also enjoys painting, and that allowed her to add the visual characters.
Dorothy resides South of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, near the town of Nanton, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. When not telling stories, she can be found spending time with family, riding her horses, painting, or playing her much loved mandolin.view less
