The love of rhyme has stayed with me through these many years.
In my High school days, I worked for a local funeral home and learned as a young man just how delicate this life is and how quickly it can be taken away.
I believe it’s through those early experiences that I’m able to write words to celebrate life
in all its many facets. There are things that make us laugh and things that make us cry.
I’ve been told many times that I have a gift and that it needs to be shared.
Many people have come to me and asked that I write the words that are in their hearts. Words they wish they could say, but aren’t quite sure how.
Touching to me was when I wrote a tribute to the life of a brave 23 year old young man
who fought illness all his life never once complaining.
At his Father’s request, one of the verses was engraved on his headstone.
The ability for me to offer my words, is “The gift.”view less
