I even went on a two-year mission to proselyte the Mormon Church’s teachings in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, where I met with ministers of other faiths and discussed many religious topics. Why do people believe in ideas about life without any positive evidence to support their beliefs? Is there really a god? Does God really speak to certain human beings? It was very startling to me to discover there wasn’t a Santa Claus, and yet the same people who had been telling me there was a Santa Claus also told me there was a being like God, so if they were wrong about Santa Claus, what about their teaching about God? This study is a result of many questions about the Mormon Church and asks many questions that do not have particularly definite answers. The intent of this work is to endeavor to get people to think on their own and perhaps realize things they have been taught are not always are correct.view less
