Born in the pristine island of St. Lucia on January 29th 1986, Mr. Desir makes a solid debut with this work of fi ction. New to the literary landscape this young author plants his fl ag in the same fertile soil that brought the likes of Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott and other renowned writers and poets. Eager to share his perspective, he approaches with a unique vernacular and writing style that befi ts all audiences with particular emphasis on the younger demographic.
A student of literature, with an insatiable appetite for works of fi ction, philosophy, existentialism, and poetry. Charting his own course while studying the greats like Fyodor Dostoevsky, Jean-Paul Sartre, and James Baldwin to name a few, can only mean that Mr. Desir is serious about his craft and with another publication already in works means we have a lot to expect from this young artist.view less
