We were always more interested in jumpi...view moreAs a childhood friend, Kaushik has always been someone who would sit by the river and stare into it! With intensity we never tried to understand or question. We were always more interested in jumping into it and feel the limited freedom. Those sudden 4 am phone calls! Ruminating about life, were always accepted and expected from him. A seemingly normal situation, could easily transform into an explosion of fantasy, when he was around. We together used to whisk people into fascinating stories. Unconstrained in his thoughts, he viewed the world in a way alien to the rest of us. Sitting for hours by the railway station, he would weave adventures out of mundane lives. This is what I believe he is born to do.. Amit Patnaikview less
