Presently living in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Victoria is a retired teacher who taught preschool and elementary students in public and private schools for 30 years. Her early years, 1945-1963 were spent on a small farm in Trimble County, Kentucky, and she attended schools in Milton, Kentucky, and Madison, Indiana. In her first 2 books, Tell Me a Story, Please, Mi-mi (Authorhouse 2009) and Our Playtime Friend (Authorhouse 2011) she shared some of her earliest memories of farm life. This, her third book, is based on a story told by her older sister, Arlene.

About the Illustrator
Victorias words have been brought to life by artist, Annette Lewis. Annette, who received formal training in both Graphic Arts and Fine Arts, worked for ten years as a graphic artist in commercial communications in Connecticut and Atlanta, GA. Presently, Annette lives in the Atlanta area with her husband, Bob and daughter, Haley. She teaches private art classes in several different media. She is also able to create illustrations in a variety of media. She created cover illustrations for the books Honey,Theres a Cat in the Freezer and Dancing in the Garage. This is her third venture into illustrating a childrens book.view less
