She was in Bellevue Hospital, New York, for further attachment and at St. Barnabas Medical Centre, Livingston, New Jersey, for further studies in medicine. She passed ECFMG but had to go back to Nigeria to participate in politics.
She has visited over twenty countries in Europe, Asia, and America and about ten countries in Africa. This high impact exposure as a doctor and tourist gives her high transcultural experience, which made her very competent to write prolifically on the subject matter.
Upon her return to Nigeria, she worked at the Central Hospital Benin City under the old Bendel state (Edo and Delta States) in pediatrics and medical departments. She attended further courses in Tanzania and Ethiopia and became a control officer for Bendel state with the National TB/Leprosy Control Programme and later for Edo State, following the splitting of Bendel into Edo and Delta states.
She attended the All Nations for Christ Bible Institute International (ANFCBII) in Benin City between 1992 and 1994, where she trained as a pastor. She is currently ordained minister of the gospel.
She has been involved in politics since 1981 and vied for the candidacy of the House of Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1998.
She has continued to fight for total emancipation and empowerment of women and children.view less
