She had her first of four children, her son Quentin, at the age of nineteen, and her first daughter, Kevineh, when she was nearly twenty-seven years old.
QuYahni became a Christian in 1997 and began her journey from an abused child to an encourager and healer of many. In the year 2000, she married Dominic Lewis, who has been a major part of her growth and recovery. They have two daughters, Jucenia and Meeyah, ages 5 and 9, and now live and minister together in Harlem, New York.
