He received his Bachelor of Arts in Pre- Law/Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara, a Masters of Arts in Religion from the School of Theology at Claremont in Claremont, California, a Masters of Education from the University of Phoenix and his doctoral degree (DMin) from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Gordon is an Educational Instructor at the University of Phoenix.
Believing that mission work starts at home before moving abroad, Bishop Gordon has engaged in mission work and projects within the United States such as after Hurricane Katrina where he traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana for aiding and comforting displaced residents. He also visited Gulfport, Mississippi to assist in rebuilding homes for the hurricane victims. Aside from engaging in mission work throughout North America, Gordon has been involved in projects on the continents of South America, Africa, and Europe.view less
