She is one of seven children born of mixed race parents of Chinese and Papua New Guinea origin. Elanor contracted polio at the age of two and lives with a physical disability. She migrated to Australia at the age of sixteen and has a daughter and two beautiful grandchildren. Elanor also writes poetry, is a practicing psychotherapist, and enjoys facilitating community workshops. Elanor enjoys writing for children and loves the joy that books bring to them.view less
