After World War II she married her high school sweetheart, Dale. Four children later, the Hall family moved to Martinez, CA where she has lived since 1961.
Sadly, in 1992, Dale passed away from lung cancer. “Our golden years together flew out the window,” Jacque says. Never one to sit around and mope, she started a writing career and in March 2000, at the age of 72, her first picture book, WHAT DOES THE RABBIT SAY? was published by Random House/Doubleday.
Jacque, who loves to travel to England with family and friends, continues to enjoy life with her eleven grandchildren. She, herself, is now a cancer survivor and counts each day as a blessing.view less
