Chandra Mo...view moreProf. Raamaa Chandra Mouli, a post graduate in mechanical engineering from Warangal, Telangana State, India, is an eminent Telugu poet, short-story writer, novelist, and literary critic. Chandra Mouli has, so far, written more than two hundred short stories, eighteen novels, nine anthologies of poetry, and four anthologies of literary essays in Telugu. He has participated as the Indian delegate in Twenty-Second World Congress of Poets in Greece during July 2011. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including a Swarna Nandi Puraskaram from the Government of Andhra Pradesh (2011), Telugu University Kavitha Purskaram (2007), Cinare Kavitha Puraskaram (2008), Kolakaloori Bhaageeradhi Kavitha Puraskaram (2012), Dr.Avansta Somasunder Kavitha Puraskaram (2012), Citizen Extraordinaire Leadership Award for 2007–08 (United Writers Association, Chennai). Besides, he also won the Best Engineering Teacher Award (2000) from the combined Government of Andhra Pradesh. He authored six prestigious textbooks for mechanical engineering students. He has penned stories and dialogues to five Telugu movies. Several of his works are translated into English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali.
