Not fitting into the era of the 40’s, or in the ever changing 1950’s which was changing at what seemed to be mock speed. No one fits in the 60’s.
I couldn’t find my nitch in life. But I loved the arts, and found an avenue in music and singing.
I won a singing scholarship, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough for my family to help my college education so I didn’t get to do music.
I married, had 3 girls who are now adult accomplished women, but my marriage failed and now I have been married again for 38 years to Vernon my love.
I had brain surgery 12 years ago. Telling people that my fist sized tumor compacted my brain by 2/3rd in 2 months, after removal it gave me room for more learning. I did finally go to college and found I had a pension for design and then also writing. At 56 graduated with the first degree in my family.
I think of myself as a flowers that only bloom in a decade or two… I bloomed late. And I am not yet finished with my blooming.view less
