Gayle Sabbe received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 1979. She was licensed in 1994. Most of her work has been in the mental health field.
Near the close of a twenty-five year career, she worked as a therapist to alcohol addicted clientele, as well as to those who were dually diagnosed (mental illness and addiction). Along the way, she supervised many social workers and counselors who later obtained their licenses.
Gayle is currently semi-retired and works part-time for the public school system. She often teaches in special education, and continues to have contact with those who suffer from severe and persistent mental illness.view less
