She is currently Chairperson, Board of Studies, English, D.A.V.V. Indore (M.P) India. Besides teaching she is currently working on two projects simultaneously, on the Gospel of St John and a novel. To her credit she has co–authored two books and a number of research papers. Her first non-fiction work A Critical Study of the Novels of –Rokeya Hossain, Zeenuth Futehally, Iqbalunnisa Hussain, Tara Ali Baig and Attia Hosian is an attempt to fill the vacuum left by many anthologies, history of Indian Writing in English and other related material available to reflect on the novels written by pioneer Muslim women writers in English in India.view less
