A former naval officer, research director and business executive, his activism over many years has included leadership roles in lay ministries such as Cursillo, Kairos Prison Ministry, Whispering Winds Catholic Camp and Worldwide Marriage Encounter. He and his late wife, Peggy, were blessed with three daughters and a son, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He makes his home in Carlsbad, California.view less
