Originally, from Philadelphia, Pa, and a graduate of Temple University, he taught business education in high school for 25 years before entering seminary in 1978 and becoming ordained in 1981. He has served churches in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Michigan. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Palmer Theological Seminary of Philadelphia. He and his wife married in 2008 following the death of their respective spouses and after meeting on the Internet.view less
