It was the constancy of summer visits to her grandparents’ ranch where she experienced unconditional love, what it meant and where it could lead. Her journey as an adoptee inspired the sequence of vignettes found in Alone in a Crowded Room, her first book. She now lives in Colorado with her husband, Kurt and their Belgian Shepherd, Ollie and is working on her second novel.view less
