He received his Ph.D. in Arabic from Dropsie University in Pennsylvania. The author of 21 books, he centers his writings on the Jewish and Arab cultures and conflicts in the Middle East. He has taught for 44 years both in Israel and America. He also lectures extensively on Islam, Judaism, the Arab-Jewish conflict and the history of Jews in Arab lands. Dr. Rabeeya has taught Hebrew and Biblical text for 30 years at Bryn Mawr College. In 1997 he was ordained a rabbi.view less
