Mac spent 26 years on active...view moreMacArthur Edmundson was born and raised in Fremont, North Carolina, a small town northwest of Fayetteville. After graduating from high school, he entered the U.S. Army. Mac spent 26 years on active duty and retired as a Command Sergeant Major. During his last combat tour in Iraq from December 2003 to December 2004, along with being the Battalion Command Sergeant Major, He preached the gospel with the Battalion Chaplain each Sunday to the Engineer soldiers scattered throughout Iraq. Throughout the entire combat tour, Mac spent most of his time as a prayer warrior and intercessor. As a direct result of prayer, he has seen the hand of God move on five occasions while he was a convoy commander; he encountered two wood line ambushes and three roadside bombs. In each incident, no one was hurt or harm. He is married to the formal Shirley Forte’; she is also a native of Fremont, NC. They have two children and two grandchildren. They currently reside in Fayetteville, NC. While in the military, he continued and focused on education. He is a graduate of Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, with a Master of Art in Human Resources Development and Management. He also is a graduate of International Seminary in Plymouth, Florida, with a Doctor of Theology.
Mac Edmundson accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior in August 1982. He was ordained and licensed as a minister under J. L. Sanders Evangelistic Association in Jacksonville, Arkansas, in June 1993. He has served the Lord in different Churches/denominations and various positions such as an usher, church treasurer, deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Associate Pastor, Circuit Pastor, and Pastor for a short time while in the military at Fort Polk, Louisiana. While attending Harvest Family Church in Fayetteville, NC, and serving under Bishop and Pastor Rosa Herman, he attended the church prayer school. Afterward, he became a church prayer team member, where he actively became a prayer warrior. Mac and his family are currently members of Beauty Spot Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where Rev. Dr. Taijuan O. Fuller is their senior pastor. Mac is now on the ministerial team and the Assistant Chairman of the Men's Ministry. Lastly, He is presently retired from the workforce and enjoying his time as a husband, father, and grandfather.
He loves the Lord and God's people, he is saved, Spirit-filled, and he is thoroughly convinced that the Lord has called him as an Evangelist to proclaim the end-time message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.view less
