Shortly after the untimely death of my son David, I began writing poetry. Being unable to speak of his passing, putting words on paper helped heal my hurting heart.
Over a period of years, this manuscript has had many starts and stops. When writing became too painful, I would put my jottings away, only to take them out again and forge ahead. Over and over. A little voice inside me kept saying, “You have to finish this. Reach out to others who have also lost loved ones.” Our passed loved ones do contact us through spirit. We just have to listen and watch.
I live with my husband in Rhode Island. We are blessed to have two loving grown sons and daughters-in-law and five super grandchildren.view less
