As a child, she spent many hours playing outdoors and listening to the song of the Meadowlark. She is a retired educator of thirty-three years receiving her master degrees in music, counseling, and administration. She lives in La Veta, Colorado, with her loving husband, Jim Hoobler. Her hobbies include traveling, volunteering in the community, playing organ and piano, directing, singing and acting in the local theater, hiking in the Cuchara Valley, and enjoying the family cabin.view less
