He obtained a BSc in Chemistry in 1987 from University of Bombay. He got his MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from West Virginia University in 1991 and his PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2000.
Ani has over 16 years of experience in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry. He has published in peer reviewed scientific journals in pharmaceutical research. His hobbies include cooking, writing, amateur stage acting, sports and flying.
