As an international economist, he contributed to trade policy formulation and participated in international trade negotiations. A graduate of Brooklyn College (B.A./Economics) and City University of New York (M.B.A/International Trade), he taught international business courses as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University and at University of Maryland University College. In addition to teaching, his post-retirement activities include consulting for the World Bank and other clients; writing publications as a fellow for the American Antitrust Institute (Global Beer: The Road to Monopoly and The Audit Industry: Worlds Weakest Oligopoly); and serving on the board of trustees of a non-profit organization. He and his late wife, Elinor, moved to Leisure World in 2006. His three children (Scott, Ruth and Mark) and five grandchildren (David, Jason, Jacob, Shayna, and Tyler) live in Montgomery County, Maryland.view less
