Like many children, I was plagued by nightmares. They were scary and disorienting. I wrote this poem when I was in high school as a reminder to myself that
night lasts only so long and each day brings a new start.
Today, I live in Peachtree City, GA with my family. I play golf, ride the local golf-cart paths on my bicycle and very rarely have nightmares.view less
