She is also a carer for an older family member and guardian for another and an animal welfare advocate. Jennifer holds diplomas in both theatre and nutrition. She began dabbling in various different aspects of philosophy and theology in the early 1980s.
In the late 1990s, she created a small workshop at a local community centre, where she taught visualisation, meditation, and exercises that helped attain better perspectives for the individual lives of those who attended.
From the mid 2000s, she began to transition her adult workshops into ones for children, Positive Rules for Positive Kids, which she ran in her local council area of Hobsons Bay, receiving accolades and recognition from various ministers of Parliament and leaders in childhood education.
After her beloved father died and her mum needed assistance, Jennifer had to step back from the workshops but, whilst still managing other aspects of her life, developed the concept for this book, Positive Rules, a book for adults, that they may be inspired by the contents and exercises herein to pass inspiration and newfound knowledge on to others, children and adults alike.
Jennifer is currently working on her next book, a children's version of Positive Rules, Positive Rules for Positive Kids. She believes the next generation can grow to be more loving, giving, and aware than the current one and that the focus is finally turning to caring more for our planet, animals, the environment, and our fellow humans. We just have to hold on to it!view less
