He began piano lessons at age four and soon began performing in recitals and competitions, eventually recording eight music albums. He then attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where he was named a “top 100 student” of the entire university and graduated with a degree in philosophy. In his free time, Maurice enjoys writing stories, creating music, and performing in civic theater. He lives in Indiana with a high-maintenance Siamese cat.view less
