His primary and half of his secondary education took place in Port-au-Prince. Then in 1986, the family moved to New York, where he completed high school and earned a B.A. in Communications Arts, with a specialization in some modern languages (French, Spanish, Italian). Later on, he moved to Florida where he studied Education and Information Technology; his theological studies will take place in Georgia.
In 2002, Mikelson returned permanently to his country of birth and established a computer school where he worked as technician and teacher. He often held motivational conferences for the youth, as he actively participated in the educational, musical, and cultural life of his community church.
After the January 12, 2010 earthquake, he returned temporarily to New York, and used the brief interlude to deliver the baby of his dreams: his first book.
Those who know him would expect a rather scientific, philosophical, or even theological publication. But he chose the story of the "Knights of Saint Urbain" to convey his message to the world.view less
