Mr. Gifford is a fine father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mr. Gifford is an acclaimed and honored author. His poetry has been enjoyed all over the world for the last thirty years. His writings have been honored by numerous organizations, which include the International Library of Poetry. He has won three Editor Choice Awards, was three times the Featured Poet in the Top Fifty Poets of America, has graced the pages of Featured Poetry in America twelve times, been named the top poet for the Famous Poets Press, was featured writer in the Desert Exposure magazine, and had over sixty of his writings featured in numerous newspapers. His last book, “Take Time for a Stroll,” with sixty of his most beautiful and lighthearted poetry works, has been requested and donated to thousands of military troops in Iraq because it reminds them of home.view less
