This was during a...view moreAnthony Moore was born in the small town of Wellington in South Africa in 1949. He grew up on a smallholding between Pretoria and Johannesburg, with his parents and three sisters. This was during all those turbulent years leading up to the birth of democracy in South Africa. This coincided with the world-wide sexual revolution and other momentous events over the twenty years from the 1950’s through to the 1970’s. He has been working in the South African film industry as a cinematographer since 1970. He and his wife, Christel, still live in South Africa and have two children and three grandchildren.view less
