The town was an ethnic mix of many cultures. As a result, friends of Evan came from many varied backgrounds. Together, as teenagers, they led a somewhat unrestricted life, seldom interrupted by the inconvenience of parental guidance.
Evan is the author of two earlier novels that were designed for young adults, set around the coast of British Columbia and often with an underlying theme involving his aboriginal studies and the West Coast fishing industry.view less
