Even at a young age Kimmer would write short stories and poetry. She writes music with lyrics and plays the guitar.
She now lives in Knoxville Tn with her life partner Niki.
Kimmer co authored a book prior to this one called The ghost of island lake.
Her day job is a certified occupational therapist, in the home health setting. Driving around to different patients homes is when Kimmer likes to think of stories and plots and write them out to see what they may lead to. Perhaps another book.
