She vividly remembers a time when children had to learn solemn patriotic hymns, memorizing words they had no comprehension of at a very early age. Resisting attempts to be just another brainwashed young woman, she pursued a career in the sciences while maintaining her artistic interests. Later, she found a new home in the United States, having earned more training in the business world.
Sorana’s first love is dance as an art form as well as a personal mode of expression. Her interest in poetry is only resurfacing from the time when, as a teenager, she won several literature awards. Now her writing is just another witness to the passage of time, with insights into her passionate personality, steadfast faith, and love of freedom.view less
