I’d lay awake at night or in that dream state where it’s a dream, but you can still guide your way and I would create stories. I never thought to write them down and share them until now. I’m at the age where you wonder what you are contributing to this world. If I can leave just one story to make people smile or one story to spark imagination, I’ll be content.
My books are of simple ideas and simple words. They create a story that starts the imagination and builds a relationship between the story and the reader. Sometimes there is a lesson written in it’s contends and sometimes it’s just for entertainment.
I was born and raised in a small town on the South Dakota plains. It wasn’t a one room schoolhouse, but I did walk to school regardless of the weather. We played outside from the morning light until the darkness called us home. We rode our bikes everywhere and played games that we invented on the spot. My best friends lived just down the street and remain friends to this day. It’s wasn’t by any means a TV show life, but we got through it.
I went on to live in California and Wyoming for a short time and married my dearest friend and companion and moved back to the Dakota plains. My dear husband has been with me through the good and the bad and is always my biggest supporter. I wouldn’t be who I am without him and I thank him every day.
I hope you enjoy this book, and that it inspires the reader to spark the imagination that is in everyone.view less
