She trained as a medical doctor and specialized in Otorhinolaryngology and Public Health before getting into Academics and Research. She is a devoted Catholic parishioner at the Consolata Shrine in Westlands, Nairobi and a team member of the Vincentian Ministries in Kenya. She has attended classes in theology for the laity at Hekima College, Nairobi. Her current interest is applied spirituality.
She serves mainly as lector (proclamation ministry) at the Shrine, but occasionally singing alto in the choir comes as second nature to her. She does not shy away from the teaching and preaching ministry, and she loves to put things in writing as evidenced by the books she has either written or helped others to write in titles such as: you are not rejected & why turn to Jesus (by Fr. Antony P, VC), living the mysteries of the holy rosary, standing in the gap, calling sin – SIN, and become a wholesome you.
She believes more will come as the Holy Spirit moves and inspires her to write; for God’s people shall not be ruined for lack of knowledge if we make it available and accessible.view less
