Roberts retired from the Navy as a Chaplain in 2012 with over thirty combat and service awards. His military career began as an enlisted Marine in 1987 as a Military Policeman in the Reserves. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky in 1989 before going on to graduate with a Master of Theology degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in 1993. He also served as a Southern Baptist minister in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Alabama. Besides being a triple war combat veteran, he is also a cancer survivor. Letters Home is a companion book to his first work published in 2014, You’ve Got to Be Somewhere, An American Odyssey.view less
