Like most Ghanaian youths in the 80’ frustrated out by the insecurity engulfing their country, he migrated to the then oil booming Nigeria where he studied to earn himself a Bsc. in Economics. He returned briefly to Ghana in the early 90’s before proceeding to the Gambia where he resided and served as a teacher for about seven years. He developed the habit of travelling across West Africa by land, which exposed him to the real challenges of the ordinary West African. This experience further assumed a real meaning when he got exposed to European wide life while studying for Master’s Degree in Business Administration in the Netherlands. Kofi Ali finally settled down in the UK to the opportunity of studying the master piece from which the foundation of the law establishing the modern state of Ghana was derived. The understanding of all the systems he has so far gone through has allowed him to develop the skill of putting the West African complicated challenged into a more practical form, than is imaginable to most of his contemporaries. Kofi Ali is now an activist. He is the founder of the Ghana Poor People Party and ECOWAS Citizens Right Advocate.view less
