He went to college at the age of sixty, graduating when he was sixty-four, earning a degree in psychology/gerontology. He enjoyed college so much he continued his academic studies for another thirteen years, taking over two hundred courses! He is also an accomplished long distance runner having completed over 250 races of marathon distance or longer. He is married to Dr. Jeanne, a psychologist, who reminds him to heed the advice of George Elliot who said “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” This is his first book, although he has written “enough poetry to fill several volumes.” His work spans the spectrum of human experience, including love, war, loneliness, the human condition, and the universe itself. He has recently completed a respectful yet witty rendition of Genesis in rhyming poetry, which is sure to inform and amuse both the faithful and nonbeliever alike. He lives in Seal Beach, California with his wife.view less
