She was followed by two brothers. The oldest brother, James Ellis, was discovered to be totally deaf by the time he was two years old. He died when he was twelve years old with nephritis, commonly called Bright’s disease.
Her youngest brother was born seven years and one day after her birthday. He is still living today in Mobile, Alabama, and is the father of two sons (one is deceased) and two daughters; he is also a grandfather of two boys and two girls.
She has been married for fifty-two years to Luis, and they are the parents of four sons and five daughters and are the grandparents of twenty-five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.view less
