I have been teaching ...view moreThis is my first attempt at publishing a book. I am not a lot different from most people you meet on the street, if you are the type to actually talk to people you don’t know. I have been teaching catechism for over twenty-five years, and to be honest, the first few years were me learning more about my faith. I have been everything from a pump jockey (pumped gas when they still had full-service gas stations), to an insurance salesman (selling insurance door-to-door), to owning my own communications company.
I’m not always very open to starting conversations with strangers, but sometimes, after I have tired of the uncomfortableness of being near someone and not speaking, I will start a conversation. I’m not a talk-about-the-weather kind of person. I like to talk about things that make people think about who they are and what they do and what they believe. Sometimes that can be awkward, but that’s what makes life interesting, isn’t it? If you’re the person sitting next to me in a lobby or on a plane and you like to just enjoy the quiet, I usually will leave you be.view less
