When the Travelers Insurance Company spun off Travelers Life and Annuity, Marlin ultimately became a Senior Life Sales Vice President, focusing on increasing Travelers distribution within the independent brokerage world. As such, he realized that many advisors, although skilled in their ability to sell life and annuity products, were not properly trained to work within property/casualty agencies.
