She is the author of three composition and grammar books and numerous articles on writing, language, English pedagogy, and Jewish American literature. She has taught grammar, writing and other courses at Binghamton University, The University of Alabama, and Purdue University. She has three sons and lives with her husband and two standard poodles in Binghamton, New York.view less
