While attending high...view moreColonel Whitman is a native of Western Maryland having attended public school in Cumberland. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland holding BS & MA degree in Economics. While attending high school Colonel Whitman and a friend discovered a series of adventure book by Stephen Meader. It was at this time he decided he wanted to be an author.
Events however precluded this pursuit. He entered the Air Force and subsequently high-civilian posts in the Dept. of Defense.
He however did not forget his dream and the “Backstreets of Heaven” has finally been completed.view less
