She came to the United States and settled in Southern California in June, 1974. She worked in the insurance industry, most of her forty three working years.
She is a mother to four children and a grandmother to seven grandchildren. She is retired and pursuing her passions in dancing and writing.
Her experiences of being discriminated in the work force for being female and having English as a second language, of being a single mother to four children, and her personal and financial losses have inspired her to write poems on rising above circumstances, loving one’s self, growing, developing, exploring and learning continuously.view less
