She grew up in Uganda and Kenya, where she worked as a broadcaster and teacher before emigrating to Britain 25 years ago. Her credentials as an author include two academic dissertations - one for an undergraduate research project, the other one for a Masters degree research project. She has also written a book on the experiences of male victims of domestic violence and abuse, published by AuthorHouse.
The author has in the past been involved in victims of crime issues for her local Victim Support Scheme in England, which entailed offering emotional support and practical help to victims of crime. And, as a strong advocate of victims of crime interests, she also trained in victim-offender mediation skills and thereafter worked briefly in that capacity for her local scheme in London.
Prior to that, the author had pursued a writing course for Short Stories and Articles with the London School of Journalism, and has had some of her articles published in newspapers, news magazines and womens magazines.view less
