She currently resides in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with her husband Timothy and her 6-year-old son Jonathan Alexander. She is a Minister in the Church of God as well as a trained Chaplain having acquired her Masters in Divinity from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma. Prior to full time ministry, Karen was engaged in full time work in the Insurance Industry specializing in Property, Casualty and Motor Vehicle Insurance. Her interest in writing emerged while working as a Project Manager at British Caribbean Insurance Company and developed during her tenure at Oral Roberts University. Her interest in writing children’s books arose out of having a child of her own, assisting with Sunday School and just being concerned about the general content quality of reading material for emerging readers.view less
