Norris (Ed.D.) was born in Bermuda but raised in Philadelphia where she attended the Philadelphia Public Schools. After college, she returned to teach in the Philadelphia School District where she taught for over 18 years. For the past ten years, she has been working at West Chester University as a professor of Early Childhood Education. Katherine has always had a love for literature, and although she has academic publications, this is her first children's book. Currently residing in Delaware, Katherine is the mother of two adult son's Aaron and Shaheed and a grandson Aamare.view less
