Jason writes weekly for a local newspaper and has been published in hunting magazines. Writing is a dream he has wanted to pursue since childhood.
His first book, Texs Bloody Ground, has been published through Publish America. The book is on the internet and Barnes & Noble. He had a short story called Riding Lonesome published in Outlaws and Lawmen by La Frontera Publishing. His education includes high school and a couple of years of college.
He grew up in a very strict Christian Pentecostal home, kind of similar to the Amish, though they did have electricity. Television wasnt allowed in his home and a radio was used only sparingly. Often, hed visit his grandmother to watch TV when he could get away.
He developed a passion for reading mostly because he had little else to do. Most of the time, he would read a book in just one night. Hed check out another the next day at the school library. The Principal would laugh at him for going to the library so much. He read all the popular books of his day, and as he grew older, his passion for reading only increased. He truly enjoys to write as well.
Even today, he only has a VCR and a DVD player in his home; He has no satellite or cable TV. His family only watches a couple of movies a week, usually checked out from the local library. His family spends a lot of time reading in the evenings.view less
