Currently he works as a specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases at Lovisenberg Diakonale Hospital in Oslo. He has a special interest in the local history of his hometown, Stavanger, as well as the Norwegian pioneers of the West. He has published four novels in Norwegian: The Knight on the White Horse (1995), Snowdrop Waltz (2009), Red Campion (2012) and Consider the Lilies How They Grow (2015).view less
